Funding
One- or two-year annual stipend ranging from $63,480 to $77,076 depending on years of postdoctoral experience, plus $12,200/year toward health insurance and $3,000/year in additional project support.

- Renewable for a second two-year award (up to 4 years total)
Eligibility
- Hold a post-baccalaureate doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DO, DVM, PharMD, DDS, DPh, or equivalent) at award activation
- No more than five years of research training or experience since the doctorate, excluding clinical training
- Not of faculty rank at the time of award
- Must be embedded at a qualifying U.S. non-profit institution with an active research mentor
- Open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and holders of qualifying visas (F-1, J-1, H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, G-4, DACA, etc.)
How to Apply

- 2Identify a qualified mentor and host institution
- 3Register and prepare the proposal via ProposalCentral (opens 8 weeks before the deadline)
- 4Submit the 5-page research plan, biosketch, budget, and three reference letters by the deadline
